Very bad connection issues when on 5g / own wifi

Hi all, 

I’m normally big on video calls and stuff like that to catch up with friends and family but lately have noticed the connection is so bad 

I have even resorted to just calling people normally yet the signal / connection is appalling, 

 

does anyone have any ideas as to why? Currently feel like I’m paying for a service which isn’t delivering as it should

There's multiple possibilities here.. it may be helpful to narrow down the issue.

Are you having any specific issues with voice calls? Are they dropping? Is the audio poor? Can you use mobile data whilst on calls - this is a good indication of using 4G-voice.

Mobile data - is this an issue of slow speeds? Or something else? Is all this happening in one specific location, or several?

What device are you using?
