iPhone 15 Pro Signal poor everywhere!!

Since upgrading to an iPhone 15 Pro, my signal strength is really poor if none existant. It always picks up 4G but even then i cannot load anything, take any calls and when  call does come through, they always tell me the line is really poor  and have to call me on whatsapp.

Doesn't matter where i am, it proves so difficult to get signal. I have checked the network to where i am each time and no issues reported, i have reset my network more times than i can think of too and gone through EE to report but all im told is to log calls with date time and location but as iv explained, its very rare a call gets through so its impossible to do. I am also up to date on software updates too.  EE dont seem to have any more options or solutions and im paying for a service and a phone that i cant even use outside of Wifi!

Each time i request EE to call me under their new visual service, they cant get through to me so i have to then go hunting for signal to speak to them. Seriosuly frustrating now that nothing is getting done.

Is anyone experiencing the same issues as im starting to think i have been provided a faulty device! Its the only thing i can think of now.

These statements are very telling. If every EE user was having these issues, complaints and forum posts would be significant. I too have had similar issues which I was convinced were network-related, but turned out to be a phone fault - changing to a working device was like changing networks!

Your best bet is to compare service with other EE users face-to-face whenever possible. The nature of a support forum such as this, is that users tend to be disgruntled or have service issues, An EE retail store may be able to assist with a 2way SIM-swap - putting a working SIM in your phone, and help with trying your non-working SIM in a working phone.

Its just frustrating! Iv compared with other EE providers at times and every time different results to mine.

I will go into one of the stores and see what they say but i can guarantee as soon as i step into the shop, i get full 5G!

I havent got a sim in my phone as it never came with one, was told it didn't need one and that an E-Sim is used.

You've just found one of the major drawbacks of an eSIM, and it's not compulsory. UK-spec iPhones all support physical SIM.

Having 2 EE phones side-by-side, and comparing service - is going to be your next best bet. Isolate whether the problems your phone has, are unique to your phone or are common to EE phones.

I strongly suspect the issue will be device-specific.

I can relate to this. I recently had a sim replacement, which made no difference. I am resetting network settings once or twice a month, at least once a week I toggle airplane mode on and off.

I mostly use the phone for browsing, but have had quite a few phone calls recently, and I get drop-offs on both. It is frustrating.

I have had an EE plan for over 2 years now, and to be honest, I havn't had the best experience in terms of signal. I had better signal on Vodafone, but then it got really bad so I switched.

I don't think it is exactly a phone model or carriers fault though, I mean speaking of now there is just not enough investment in technology, many people are complaining about poor signal over different brands, models and carriers.

A company can say that they invest this much but I think it is a wider problem. I want to say I am happy with EE, I am out of contract and tbh just can't be bothered to change that. I might look at plans due to hotspot and needing to use it in unsecure wifi network options, but I am really just paying for poor signal.

If anyone from EE or a professional can comment to help us that would be great

To add to what I have said, Apple tested my iPhone and it isn't the phone which is the issue. And I only have one phone, I could try and swap the sim in my dad's Poco and see if there is any difference, but that would be a long term test, and he needs his phone, also I hate using his phone it's so clunky and I can't even type on it. When I am out, busy or at work, and he is out, busy and or doing some work somewhere its hardly convenient.

I have spoken to other people on EE who have had similar issues, like they weren't or aren't  impressed with their signal quality. I don't get to see people often to have that conversation, but in the last year I am certain I have had that conversation with someone lol

Hi @Gatallica

Welcome to the EE Community.

If you can try a SIM swap test with your dad's phone, even briefly with a few test calls, it could provide valuable insight for the technical team when you get back in touch with them with results.

If you're not able to try that a SIM swap at all, it would be worth getting back in touch with Customer Care team anyway to let them know so they can continue the diagnostics in the best way possible.

I've been dealing with this issue for long time and let me tell you this IT'S NOT EE, it's the iphone 15 pro and pro max having serious reception issues. I purchased a cheap xiaomi and with the same sim card I'm having excellent 4 bars 5G service everywhere where I'm stuck with my 15 pro max. I tried my house, my work and shopping center and the results are the same. I tried everything with my iphone, every single trick, reset, changing sim cards, everything.. And nothing changed. Went to apple store, they say it's the network, they can't do anything so we're hopeless alone with our expensive iphones working only with wifi...
