Is this specifically a problem with mobile data - i.e. are you able to make & receive calls, send & receive texts?

Or is the issue of data, because you have no coverage?

Hi @edsaunders15

I can see you've had some great advice from @Schockwave and @bristolian to get updates for the area.

You can also find up to date information on the main Coverage in St Albans post.

Thanks 🙂

Leanne.

Yup there's a problem. The mast that served the area have been decommissioned with no replacement! You can find out more here: https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Mobile-Network-discussions/Coverage-in-St-Albans/m-p/1447867#M38006

It's an absolute disgrace!

Hi Leanne,

Given you wrote this https://community.ee.co.uk/t5/Mobile-Network-discussions/Coverage-in-St-Albans/m-p/1447867#M38006, why are you letting people no that there is no longer service due to a mast being taken down without a replacement?

@nujumo , if you actually read it properly, they had to remove the mast due to the development, and now they have to find another area to put a mast, and it is not as simple as that, but as soon as a replacement area has been found, then you will have good reception.

As per my previous post - there's an implication in this post that this could be a data-specific issue and/or has only developed in the past few days.

@edsaunders15 - is this correct? Your issue won't be the "Notice to Quit" site if so. These landlord/site redevelopment issues affect all networks from time-to-time, EE has a very open approach compared with others. But if your issue is recent, this won't be the cause.

Can you clarify?
