Release Jack O Sullivan’s cell mast data

Sophie246
Visitor

Jack o’ Sullivan disappeared after a night out on 2nd March 2024. EE have refused to give the cell mast data to Jack’s family, despite the phone being registered to his mum Catherine.
COME ON EE time to give the data to the family, this will solve so many unanswered questions that they’ve been experiencing.

 from the find jack webpage

jack's phone was still active and placed him at an address at 5:40 am in the Granby Hill area.

His phone continued to be live on the network until 6:44 am.

So the last know location of the device is known.      Or have you actually not read the webpage about jock.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

This location you mention was from the  'find my' function on his mothers phone - it will not have the same level of accuracy as the mast data that the police use. EE are telling the family to get the data from the police, the police are telling the family to get the data from EE - you can appreciate how infuriating that must be for them.

If this was your family member and the police had stopped doing anything to find them wouldn't you want every possible bit of information in case it might just help?

The family's legal team are working towards getting a court order but it takes time and every day for this family is agony.

I am an EE customer, myself, my husband and son all have the 'find my' set up on our phones in case of emergency and they are all on one account. Although in many ways I am a very happy EE customer, this is making me realise that if something happened to one of us EE would not do everything they can to help.

No competent police officer should be making any such request or suggestion, and if they have done - then the recipient of that suggestion has valid cause for complaint against them. There are legal processes for this sort of request, for a reason.
