Me!!!! Complained to EE it’s like it’s not an issue to them…… which postcode…..err AROUND LEEDS GENERALLY, I work in and all around Leeds for 30 years been on EE for 15 years approx and Last 6 months it’s beyond dross, worked in Britannia street could get a little reception in 4th floor of offices. M621 interlink has always had two black spots nr cross green that now extended from Tadcaster (a1) all way to garforth okish to Springs.
im considering leaving EE now as it’s making business pretty much untenable for communication. They have changed something in last 6 mths!!!

Hi @DEElectrical,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
I'm sorry to hear you've had signal issues in more than one location.
Please visit EE Coverage & Network Status Checker | Check your signal and use the 'check status' option for each location.
If there is a known issue, you'll usually be given an estimated time for it to be resolved. If there isn't a known issue, you'll see an option to report it.
Thanks
James

Given some of the symptoms described here, I wouldn't bet against a device issue. Do other EE users have similar issues?
Deadspots along motorways & trunk roads should ring alarm bells - loss of coverage here would cause significant issues and not just result in a couple of forum posts.

When I first signed up for EEs mobile broadband in march 2022, I was able to purchase their 5gee device as there is absolutely no ISP that provides above 4mbps in my LS2 postcode. It worked well enough, reasonably stable 200mbits down. Good enough. Then in oct 2022, it just stopped working well. I'm lucky to get 60 mbits down in the morning before 9 am. After 5 pm, I get nothing over 10mbits down, and drops out completely with some regularity. Upload isn't any better. Per cellmapper, there aren't even any EE 5g towers in Leeds, but my area is drowning in 4G towers. I've called EE over and over, and every time I've been told that EE is working on a tower in the area, and that it would be fixed by june 2023, and then nov 2023. I was given a reduced tariff for my inconvenience as their last and final escalation of my issue, but that was only supposed to last until nov 2023, when they were scheduled to fix the issue. It hasn't been fixed. It's gotten progressively worse.

The nature of Cellmapper is that it uses crowdsourced data - with sufficient contributions it's extremely accurate. You must have different filters set to what I've just tested!
Also the NSA nature of 5G is that 4G remains as an underlying layer, all EE sites are multi-technology meaning there's no such thing as a 5G-only site.

If I set the provider to 4G, then filter for 5G capable, that is all the towers in the area, but the filter states that just because it is capable, doesn't mean that it is available. Any way to filter for towers actually providing 5G?
