Hi, i recently updated my phone and contract, been using for 4 days, today I can’t make any calls or receive, send messages and no internet connection either? Also the reception in my area is checked and fine too…. Any ideas what I can do? Phone also says no vpn

Use the "check service status" option on https://ee.co.uk/help/mobile-coverage-checker in the first instance, to check for local service outages - it sounds like you've used the "check coverage" option. A loss of coverage will remove the ability to make/receive calls, send/receive texts or use mobile data.
If you're in the UK and have a WiFi connection, you can use WiFi-calling to keep using your phone as normal without needing network coverage.
