Hi

Help please, I am unable go register my phone to the network.

Did say they where updating the network in my area, this has since come back on and am unable to register to the network.

I am unable go recieve/make calls or texts, unable to get wifi calling and not getting 5g,4g,3g,2g when not connected go wifi.

I have tried the following-

1. Turning airplane mode on and off.

2. Restarted my phone

3. Manually connecting go the network ( EE not coming up as a option anymore)

4. Updated phone.

Any other ideas on what I can try is much appreciated.

Hello @Em181

When you search your area using the Status Checker does it confirm your service should be OK?

Katie

Hi katie

Yes it does, my esim on my old phone is working, but my sim card in my new phone isn't, also my son who has a sim card isn't working either.

EE is now showing back up to manually connect, but keeps saying unable to connect, try again later.

Hi @Em181

Is the physical SIM that is in your new phone the same number as the eSIM in your old phone?

Katie

Hi Katie

Yes it is

Even when mobile network coverage is not available, WiFi-calling should connect - by design. If this doesn't happen, it suggests a SIM/account-issue.

Your statement "my esim on my old phone is working" is the key to this - you can only have one SIM active on a mobile number at a given time. If this is not a physical SIM easily swapped between phones, you'll need to either transfer your eSIM or revert to a physical SIM and swap it to your new phone.

Thanks
