Today I’ve paid off my contract early because in may 2023 in the bexleyheath store I was told I get an excellent signal so I took out a 24 month credit contract which should’ve ended this may ! Even the EE website at the time said good reception… & the guy in the store said yes it’s a good reception where you are …LIES I even phoned customer service to tell them & got told no cooling off period! when indoors I get 1 bar of reception & when I make a call it cuts off ( crap reception ) so everytime I want to make a call or receive a call I have to go outside to the front of the house I couldn’t the  cancel contract because if you buy instore you don’t get a cooling off period!
in december I phoned customer service to pay off my contract early I was told because my bill had been generated I would get the final bill on January to pay off my contract oh dear more LIES as my bill was normal ! In dec I when I spoke to customer service I was also told I’d get a text with a package code oh dear even more LIES !
this morning I phoned & spoke to a lovely lady called Dannielle & guess what she sorted it out for me so I’ve now paid off my bill Dannielle sent my pac code through which I’ve passed on to my new network Dannielle is the only 1 who I’ve had contact with at EE whose helped me sort things out! So tell me how can EE boast there the best network for 11 years & have great customer service 🤣🤣🤣 what a joke !
lies lies lies So for nearly 2 years I’ve been paying for a crap network that don’t care ! & btw my new network I get full 5g signal indoors 😃

MY ADVICE TO EE TAKE A LOOK AT YOUR NETWORK BEFORE YOU LIE ABOUT BEING THE BEST NETWORK YOUR NOT ESPECIALLY INSTEAD OF PAYING YOU NEARLY £65 TO YOU GETTING RUBBISH RECEPTION AT HOME IM PAYING NEARLY £50 LESS A MONTH NOW & YES I GOT A NEW PHONE & NOW I GET A FULL 5G SIGNAL INDOORS !

I think you ought to talk to Chris_B about the coverage checker according to them it’s just a computer PREDICTION … read my post about goodbye EE & see what Chris_B has said .
Chris_B also said that no one came to my home to check it omg what we supposed to drag a EE shop employee to our home address to test EE signal ???

@Bionic69     You’ll get good indoor and outdoor signal with this new provider,      That’s not a guarantee and at no point have they guaranteed you a signal,  ask for that in writing and that’s both a guarantee of indoor and outdoor signal.  I bet they don’t.

And where on the EE cover checker does it state this is a guarantee of signal ?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

I know a couple of work colleagues and friends who moved to Voda & O2 for supposedly better indoor coverage, their experience has been "interesting".

VF have had real problems with their 3G switchoff, resulting in phones dropping down to 2G in areas where 4G should be good. They get more signal bars, but data becomes unusable.

O2's 4G is horribly congested in loads of areas, OK you might have good bars but you can't use it half the time.

At least EE's service is generally consistent - everyone's experience will vary, but no-one who's had a bad time can sensibly pretend it's the same countrywide.

Hi read my post titled “goodbye EE LIES LIES LIES “ i haven’t just had bad signal I’ve had other issues a certain someone said on my post it’s my house’s fault I get bad signal because when I make or receive calls I have to go outside at the front of the house 🤣 oops let’s get the builders in to move the house 🤣🤣🤣 but I’ve now gone to another network & guess what lol I get full 5g signal 😃 it’s a bit of a novelty now to make & receive calls in the house itself 👍 I’m just awaiting for my number to transfer to the new network then I’ve finished with EE totally

@Leanne_T  Hi Leanne hope your good I have a question for you maybe you can clear it up for me. I put up a post yesterday ok & 1 of the replies I got was from a certain person & they said that the service checker is NOT a guarantee of signal  because the service checker is computer generated is this correct or are they just mugging me off ? Thankyou if you can clear this up for me 😀

The coverage maps on all of the UK operators sites are well-intentioned predictions, all with disclaimers.

Hi @Bionic69

The Coverage Checker is a guide. There are a number of factors that can affect local signal, that the coverage checker cannot determine, such as:

  • Thick walls and windows
  • Using an older device
  • Your distance from a signal mast
  • Thick tree cover
  • More people using the network around you
  • Bad weather

This is all mentioned after you search on the coverage checker, when you scroll down the page a bit.

Well the guy in the EE store shouldn’t have said YES you get a great signal there ! You can all carry on defending this idiotic network that lies but the fact is if it the guy in the store didn’t know then he shouldn’t have said YES if he didn’t know he shouldn’t have lied !

It’s a prediction NOT a fact but the fact of the matter is I’ve found a network that offers better signal & better value for money than EE & none of you like it 🤣🤣

I even sent a picture to Mike_T last night showing him how strong the signal is on my new network !
Look how many other complaints are in the posts about the signal with EE
