Today I’ve paid off my contract early because in may 2023 in the bexleyheath store I was told I get an excellent signal so I took out a 24 month credit contract which should’ve ended this may ! Even the EE website at the time said good reception… & the guy in the store said yes it’s a good reception where you are …LIES I even phoned customer service to tell them & got told no cooling off period! when indoors I get 1 bar of reception & when I make a call it cuts off ( crap reception ) so everytime I want to make a call or receive a call I have to go outside to the front of the house I couldn’t the cancel contract because if you buy instore you don’t get a cooling off period!
in december I phoned customer service to pay off my contract early I was told because my bill had been generated I would get the final bill on January to pay off my contract oh dear more LIES as my bill was normal ! In dec I when I spoke to customer service I was also told I’d get a text with a package code oh dear even more LIES !
this morning I phoned & spoke to a lovely lady called Dannielle & guess what she sorted it out for me so I’ve now paid off my bill Dannielle sent my pac code through which I’ve passed on to my new network Dannielle is the only 1 who I’ve had contact with at EE whose helped me sort things out! So tell me how can EE boast there the best network for 11 years & have great customer service 🤣🤣🤣 what a joke !
lies lies lies So for nearly 2 years I’ve been paying for a crap network that don’t care ! & btw my new network I get full 5g signal indoors 😃
MY ADVICE TO EE TAKE A LOOK AT YOUR NETWORK BEFORE YOU LIE ABOUT BEING THE BEST NETWORK YOUR NOT ESPECIALLY INSTEAD OF PAYING YOU NEARLY £65 TO YOU GETTING RUBBISH RECEPTION AT HOME IM PAYING NEARLY £50 LESS A MONTH NOW & YES I GOT A NEW PHONE & NOW I GET A FULL 5G SIGNAL INDOORS !

There's limited indoor coverage in parts of my home too, but WiFi-calling works extremely well.
Every network has good & bad coverage areas.

@Bionic69 You also failed to notice that no one stood in your home to actually test the EE cellular signal in your home.
You got told what the coverage checker states and this isn’t based on someone standing anywhere within the UK it’s a computer prediction. And no network will guarantee a single indoors but as mentioned WiFi calling works for these scenarios. And as you say you had to go outside to make a call. So you’re home is actually blocking the signal hence why no network will guarantee a signal indoors.

Signal has gotten worse over the past few years because of the Huawei technology removals, etc., so that’s probably why you feel the signal is not great or has gotten worse. As for the EE customer service, I 100% agree it’s been TERRIBLE recently. As soon as my contract is over, I am also moving to a different network. I have had to submit complaints multiple times and never received a response or resolution. There is no benefit to sticking with EE, and there are no benefits for long-standing existing customers. They make a point of not caring about that. Time to move on, I guess, lol.

@Chris_B 1st of all NO no one came to my home why should they ??? Lies by a EE employee & being a computer prediction is basically trades description if it can’t be guaranteed I.e being LIED to again ! & you saying NO network will guarantee a signal indoors is absolute rubbish my new network I’m with said I would get a good signal inside & out & YES as I stated I get a great 5g signal ! When I took out the contract I didn’t expect to use wi-fi calling I took out a contract to use normal calling ! As for the home blocking the signal yes it’s the shi# EE signal !
what are you trying to make look stupid EE IS A CRAP NETWORK IVE PROVED IT …. LIES LIES LIES LIES that’s all you get from network of the year 11 yrs running lol

Yes I agree with you that networks have good & bad areas but to be told by EE that I would get a good signal when infact I don’t is bad sales tactics

Hi magic man I totally sympathise with you I know how you must feel they say that there look into it & raise a complaint but never do !
For a company that’s claiming there best network for 11 years running I think the governing body of telecoms should look on this forum 🤣 because the way you get treated is absolutely disgusting & it’s a wise move to change as it’s an overpriced network that LIE

The Huawei swapout programme has not been a direct cause of any perceived coverage degradations. Nearly every vendor swapout activity has been conducted alongside tech adds and often complete site rebuilds. That has far more potential for alterating onscreen signal bars - which many people seem to think is the be-all-and-end-all for mobile network performance.

The T&Cs specifically allow for coverage to be provided by a variety of radio technologies, and EE's network design allows for this.
EE's best network claims are explained, and fully supported by benchmarking surveys that all networks willingly partake in.
