Thank you evrryone who replied and helped us with our enquirey.
We appreciated your help.
Damaged subsea cable was the reason for wifi not working. Hopefully it will be repaired soon.

Ok it’s now a few months since you noted the issue with mobile 4G in Shetland. I’m on the Westside and I’ve been getting notifications from EE that there is a problem which is taking longer to fix…. As in months. So is it the undersea cable or an aerial or something else?

Hi @Northman
If you are experiencing service issues in the area, please get in touch with our mobile care team on 150 and they will get this looked into for you.

Thanks…. However as I don’t have an EE phone my call to 150 takes me to my
current phone provider, 1p mobile. Your EE phone signal is poor where I
live but the 4G Wifi signal USED to be excellent…. But not now.

Hi @Northman
If your provider is 1p-mobile, you should direct your queries at them.
I appreciate they are an MVNO who use EE's network, but the nature of an MVNO is that you are a customer of the "piggyback" provider, not the operator.
