Buy New EE sim with contract but no service

I got yesterday my new ee sim and i put it in my mobile but it’s still showing no service in my mobile so please tell me i have to register my this sim card to anywhere or is this any other issue ?

Welcome to the community.

Is it a brand new SIM with a brand new number? Is it on contract or pay as you go? Is it definitely inserted correctly?
