Both the links provided about just produce the error message: “Safari cannot open the page because it could not connect to the server.”
im using home Wi-Fi on my iPad to try and buy an add on.

@PhilippaEast : Use another browser, not Edge or any browser that turns HTTP: into HTTPS: . Chrome works on it.

Hmmm. I tried on chrome from my iPad, but it tells me I can’t access those pages using Wi-Fi — which obviously is what I need to use on an iPad!

@PhilippaEast : Does your iPad have a SIM in it? If so, you don't connect to that link over WiFi but directly over the mobile network. WiFi is for connecting to a mobile router with a SIM.

No, my iPad doesn’t have a sim.

@PhilippaEast : So, are you connecting it to a mobile router by WiFi?

this methods seems very faffy. Cant we just buy data add-ons over a normal internet connection, or through the app or website?

I’ve used my iPad to log into my ee account via the webpage. I’m not using my phone for that at all (I don’t have a smart phone, I have a very old Nokia, which doesn’t really do Internet!)

Exactly 🤣

@PhilippaEast : So what are you trying to buy data for? Why are you even trying to use my add-ons link? Your iPad has no SIM in it.
