I have a EE PAYG 4GEE WiFi Mini and would like to unlock it to use on a different network. Model is EE71-2BE8GB3
I have the IMEI number but this doesn't work on the ee online form - https://ee.co.uk/plans-subscriptions/mobile/settings-permissions/device-unlock as I receive the error message 'Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information)'
Any ideas?

Welcome to the community, @Jj171
Have a chat with our Mobile Care team and they'll see if we can unlock it for you.

Did you solve this?
I am having this same issue whilst on holiday. I have bought a local sim here so I can use my Wi-Fi to watch stuff through chrome cast.
I am trying to sort whilst overseas, but the msg bot says messaging isn’t available for technical support. And I can’t call EE as it will incur extortionate roaming charges.

Hi @emilyh85,
Welcome to the EE Community. 🙂
When did you purchase your router? If it was after July 2021, it should already be unlocked.
If not, you should be able to unlock it at Device unlock (ee.co.uk).
Hope this helps.

Hi
No I can't even get that far I get the same error message as above.
Application error: a client-side exception has occurred (see the browser console for more information)'
I have also got in touch with tech who went through the process with me which still did not work.
Its been in my draw and thought would see if anyone has sorted it as it would be useful for me being a caravaner.
thanks

I see @skin1
Have you tried another network SIM in the device to see if this is already unlocked?
