Why do EE not let potential customers no that 5 g home routers are not suitable for using gaming ,as most families have children and most play on Xbox’s etc very .it must effect sales 😊very disappointed after being a customer in some shape or form for 20 years or more .

If you test internet connection on your ps settings after you connect through vpn it tells you there what Nat type you are on

Please can you tell me what model of IPhone do u have ? I heard that on IPhone is working but on Android phones not. Here I can't see any pictures that you uploaded.  Thanks and please tell me your phone model.

@Ebola69 : What phone you have makes no diff to viewing PS settings.

Maybe it depends on the VPN, but as someone with a Nord subscription, and the app on my phone, I can confirm that the PS Portal at least doesn't have its NAT Type changed when your hotspot is using a VPN

Maybe it's different for the consoles themselves, but for the Portal, you can not use EE's network to play it when mobile hotspotting.

Just download a vpn app join fastest connection usually a uk one and hotspot as normal and it work as in my pictures above you still only get Nat type 2 but it’s better than Nat type 3

Hi, I was following your steps, except it doesn’t seem to work for xbox one console, or am i doing something wrong. I am also not using a pc but a laptop, does this effect anything?
