EE Tv box issues

I have 2 EE tv boxes  (the smaller rectangular puck type). Im having  constant issues  with them, keeps saying  no signal for  varies channels (the channels  vary, today its ch5).  I have also had issues getting  Now tv to load.  I can fix this by sometimes logging  into the i player,or itv hub and then  going back, or switching on off and on. I have also updated channels and even factory reset but issues  carry on. 

I don't have the same issues  with my Apple puck, or on a fire stick I use for now tv. 

 

Anything  anyone  can suggest  ir is it simply a case I need the equipment replacing?

Welcome to the community.

When you find that you do that it has no signal, is that then impacting all channels or certain ones?

Do you see any error codes when it does lose the connection?

Hi @Michael_D @ get it randomly  on channels  and if it happens  it's not all channels  just  either  bbc itv or ch5. I get error code  ipc6018

There are some steps to help to fix that error code on the Fixing EE TV error codes page. You just need to enter that code in the box.

If the steps shown don't help, I'd recommend speaking to our tech guides so they can look into it further for you.
