Hi, I have 2 EE broadband SIMs and 2 routers in separate buildings. My main router stopped working, I spent ages resetting and reconnecting, eventually bought a new router and it still didn't work. Eventually I established that one of the SIMs will work in both original routers and one SIM will only work in one - and it's not the router it was initially fitted to. It this likely to be an issue at the EE end?

It's great you've been able to run some tests on each SIM / router.
At this stage it would be best to contact Customer Service so the guide can check the SIM that is only working on one of the routers, .

I spoke to customer service/tech support. As they were unable to run any diagnostics on my router and insisted that there was nothing wrong with the SIM, account settings or network they weren't much help. They reluctantly agreed sent me a new SIM and it works OK now!
