Mobile broadband refund

I ordered mobile broadband and the router was never delivered. On calling up and being led through multiple departments, it turned out the router was returned to EE by the delivery company and my order cancelled and refunded. I’ve not received the refund or any confirmation that one is on the way in writing. How long does it usually take?
