Register SIM card on dongle

I bought a SIM with data to put in my Hauwawe Wi-Fi dongle . When I register the sim with the phone number it’s text a pin to the mobile number but of course it’s not in a phone ? How can I sort this out please ?

@Rosse : Most mobile routers are capable of receiving texts. Login to it & look for the SMS section.
