I am in France. I know my device tel no. I have tried to top up. I have a credit of £25. There is a green tab saying top up but when I press the top up bottom nothing happens. I thin it is because I am not on Wi-Fi but when I try with an other wi fi I just get kicked off. Can you help?

@Alansusskind : "Top-up" means add money to your credit, not add data. For that, Look at http://add-on.ee.co.uk/purchase from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi to see what data add-ons are available.

Thanks. I understand now. But when I follow that link it is for my ee mobile not my mini Wi-Fi and I can’t see how to switch to the other number. Can you help?

Which are you trying to get data for? Your mobile or your Mini Wi-Fi?

No problem with my mobile. It is the mini Wi-Fi that I can’t add data to even though I have a credit (which means I have successfully topped)

Your mobile needs to be connected by WiFi to the Mini Wi-Fi, not to the mobile network, when you follow my link to buy data. When it's connected to the mobile network it will only be trying to buy for itself.

I tried that but the mini Wi-Fi kicked other wifi off. I will try again when I get to a place with wifi. I am travelling. Will be tomorrow. Thanks for your help so far though.

What other WiFi? You don't want a place with WiFi but just the WiFi from the mobile router.

But what if you have run out of data? The very reason you want to top up. I have an ee mobile as well and every time I try to add data and activate my 4G mobile Wi-Fi I am directed to my mobile number. It is hopeless. I tried to add the 4G mobile Wi-Fi number to My ee but I go through the whole process and at the end when I try to connect the mobile Wi-Fi I get kicked out because I have no data. And I have actually bought the data but I can’t activate it. Very, very frustrating. I have spent hours on this. Ee are good at many things but this is dreadful and I have to say that these community forums are an inadequate substitute  for genuine, relevant customer service. Knackered now and giving up.

@Alansusskind : You must go to  http://add-on.ee.co.uk/purchase from a from your mobile connected to your mobile router by WiFi to see what data add-ons are available. The mobile must be off the mobile (4G) network to do so. You don't need to have any data already to access that link as it's entirely within the EE network before the Net.

It has nowt to do with you MyEE.
