Forcing Firmware Update

Hi All

I have a 5G EE Wireless Router and now and again it keeps dropping internet between the router and devices, wired and wi-fi from PC, Phone, TV and Tablets. Sometimes it can come straight back on, but most times I have to keep logging in to restart the device, or turning the power button off and back on.

I want to try and forced Firmware update, just incase this is the issue, but cant see where I can do this. Does anyone have any ideas?

Thanks all.

@BigBroGamer : I doubt the router has any firmware update facility, esp. if you can't see it anywhere in its management console. Firmware updates will be auto d/loaded as & when EE decide.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up => 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB => 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB => 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU => 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU => 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC => 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC => 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC => 2022: EE 80 Meg FTTC (no landline number)

I keep checking for a Firmware update on the console, and it keeps saying I have the up to date version. I just wasn't sure if there was a way to force an update through, in deleting the firmware I have on mine, and replacing with the update button, just incase mine has a bug or something and is the reason it keep disconnecting now and again.
