I have an EE mobile broadband mini hub. Works ok when plugged into USB charger in lounge, however how can I boost the signal through other rooms? Other rooms have ethernet and usb in wall sockets. I also have amplifier in cloak room with several ethernet points and a free mains socket

Hi @mmunro
Welcome to the community.
I'm not sure about linking the Mobile Broadband device through your home network. Have you tried repositioning the router to try and reach other rooms?

Thanks Chris, I will try positioning in a central place (we are in a 2 bed bungalow). I suspect it might be the devices I am trying to connext with: Smart TV with Amazon/Now sticks, Non Smart TV with Amazon/Now sticks. In a couple of rooms. Phones are fine.

Try connecting the troublesome devices to the 2.4 GHz WiFi band.

Which mobile router do you have? Read its label or post an image.

That's the 4GEE WiFi Mini.
Login to your MBB router at http://192.168.1.1 with the admin password found under the battery cover. Then on the Settings > WiFi > Basic page select 2.4GHz & Apply. On this router you can have 1 or t'other but not both.
