4GEE WiFi Mini and voucher

I have a 4GEE WiFi mini for occasional use when away from home.
Tesco have sold me a voucher for it, saying this was the only way to top it up.
I am aware of the way to top up a mobile with a voucher ie : text 150 with VO then a space and then the 16-digit voucher number,   but is there a way to make this work for the WiFi mini please?
There is a phone number associated with the mini, but not a phone, and if I use my mobile then it tops up my mobile not the WiFi mini.  Thanks anyone.

@kris3333 : Can your mobile router send texts (some can)? If so, you can send the VO text from there. Otherwise you'll need to move the SIM to a mobile phone to send the text.

To top-up w/out having to move the SIM but w/out using a voucher, you could use Fast Top-up online to pay by UK bank card. You don't need to login or register anything. All you need is your mobile no. & it doesn't remember your card details.

Many thanks - hadn't thought of moving the SIM, that would be the way to do it as the mini cannot send texts (as far as I know).
I usually top up in other ways, including the ways you mention, but wanted to see if/how I could use the mi-sold voucher.  Thank you.

The Tesco employee lied. A voucher is not the only way to top-up. In fact it is the only  way not to top-up a mobile router.

Thanks! You're welcome 🙂 ! Glad I could be of assistance & trust it is now sorted.
