EE TV mini box channel quality issues

Our EE TV mini box is glitching. I can view anything via my apps so obviously there are no problems with the broadband speed , wifi or cable connections etc. However live TV does not work at all. I can see the guide with loads of channels but when I try to play one I just get a black screen or a pixilated jumpy image and sound.
Our Pro box is absolutely fine. Issue started out of the blue 2-3 days ago. Help!

Have you had any updates recently to the box or are there any to do?

We have checked that, none to do and none done recently that we're aware of. Its a bit of a strange one. I think it might be a wifi quality issue, although the box says signal is fine I have noticed poor performance on other devices. I have rebooted the booster hub in this part of the house. Next ill reboot the main hub.

@RPTrewls your Wifi extender is reporting a VERY bad wifi signal, which would cause this issue.  Has it been moved? Or anything moved in front of it? Even pushing it to the back of a shelf, or hiding it behind something can affect the signal.
