Hi,

I have a 4GEE wifi mini, when i first got it it worked perfectly. But just recently it wont connect to the internet so im unable to connect to the wifi on my phone. I turn it on and it has all 4 lights are a solid blue and they stay on. I have tried restarting it, taking battery and sim card off. And plugged it in also. Anyone have any ideas whats wrong with it?

Hi @jordan

I hope you're well and having a nice day, other than this issue of course.

Can I just check, are you unable to connect to it with any devices at all?

Thanks

Chris

I have also had the same problem and was told it was a fault they’d had with the device and it needed a firmware update and to go onto the home internet and type in 192.168.1.1 then in a yellow box click login or admin to update the firmware.

I typed the numbers in but get lots of different pages but none where I can click admin!

Hi @LG63

For that to work I believe you would need to be connected to the device, but is part of the problem that you can't connect to it?

Thanks

Chris

Yes it is.

@LG63

I would advise having another chat with our tech gurus, so they can try and find a way you can get the update needed.

Thanks

Chris

Thanks Chris I will.

Yes unable to connect to any device. My phone can’t find the WiFi name when trying to connect to it

Hi @Jordan216

Thanks for coming back to us.

Do you have any other devices on EE?

Do we have any problems showing on the Coverage and Network Status Checker for the area?

If you enter the postcode and select 'Check Status' this will show you any reported issues for the area.

Speak soon 🙂

Leanne.

Same as other problems described above. Just received item. Lights on but the "4GEE WiFi network name" doesn't appear in list of wifi networks (checked on 2 devices). Been on to customer services for over an hour and a quarter. No use.
