Unable to set up Xbox gamepass

I recently got an Xbox series X as an add-on, have followed the link to set up a activate this, entered my number and verification number. What loads next is a blank white screen. 
I have tried this on my phone, my wifes phone, my laptop on 3 different browsers - it all shows the same thing. 
I have cleared the cache and cookies.
I've tried on mobile data and wifi.

Seems extremely frustrating as I'm paying for 24 months of xbox game pass but cannot activate it. I have an Xbox and no games.

Seemed to work for me when I did it on my phone but on mobile data, wasn’t working at all on my Wi-Fi connection, I just kept getting an error message about technical difficulties.

 

I didn’t have to put in a code, it just seemed to give me button to press for 1 month of game pass, which I assume will roll over. Going into my Microsoft account, it seems to suggest I have game pass ultimate as a subscription, with no end date or renewal date.

I’m yet to be able to tell if it actually works yet though as I already had game pass before starting this new contract, and even though I’ve cancelled it, I still have access via my old subscription until later this month anyway as my payment went out in late September.

Same problem, called the help  line for support and got told it was a known problem with the EE website and that there is no timeline for a fix.

Essentially told to wait and not to bother calling up again to try and fix it as it won’t make any difference.

really terrible service and lack of support.

Hey all,

 

So I was on the phone to tech and trying some thing suggested on this thread and managed to get it to work. 

You MUST do this on Microsoft Edge, laptop/pc works best. After you enter your activation code to your mobile, it will ask you to login to your email (Microsoft/xbox account) so do this, redeem a 1 month ultimate gift code, and then it’s done. I imagine then it will reoccur each month then. 

 

I was doing it on my iPhone via safari browser and that’s when I kept getting the technical error. If it doesn’t detect Edge, it won’t continue through.

Hi guys i also purchased this gaming bundle and i also had the same issue with it saying there was a technical problem after entering the pin. I then resolved this by using mobile data rather than wifi. I then got a code and entered it onto the xbox. However it came up saying 1 month so my question is where is the other 23 months?

I have just been told it will automatically renew good luck guys.

So basically if you don’t use windows you can’t do it 😑

Doesn't work on any laptop or mobile, Windows, Android or iOS. Also not visible at all in EE app. Terrible execution and support.

Hi. I had this problem today. After finding nothing suggested worked, I tried turning the wifi off my phone and using wireless as suggested by another user. Instead of the ‘technical problems’ message, I got an activate button and it all worked fine.
