I have had my Xbox Series X connected to my EE Broadband router since it was installed roughly 8 months ago. There have been no issues at all up until last Friday when I received the following message on my network status on my Xbox:
NAT Type: Moderate
UPnP not successful
This has given me a persistent lag and has made matchmaking very tricky.
Can anyone shed any light on how to fix this? I feel like I’ve exhausted all options and have tried the following;
- changed my IP address for the device
- toggle off UPnP in EE job settings, reset router and Xbox, turn it back on, toggle UPnP back on, reset router etc
- added DMZ to my Xbox
- port forwarding
No success with any of this. Is there any other suggestions?

Had this issue literally just figured it out myself as ee cs was useless… on the ee app go into broadband and look for WiFi enhancer - switching that off resolved Nat and upnp issue on both my series x and ps5 - there both connected by Ethernet cable so unsure why switching off WiFi enhancer resolved it

this is still an issue today - phone team have no knowledge of this, very frustrating, gonna have to switch back to my old hub which had ZERO issues
