Hi I have been having the exact same issue, never had a problem with BT but switched to new EE broadband and can't connect the Xbox via ethernet cable and the app doesn't work so can't use the Gaming Mode, which was one of the main reasons we switched over

We decided to end our contract and move back to BT and they gave us 4 months for free and waved the upfront cost

How did you go about this please?

Did you explain to EE that you wanted to move back to BT or contact them directly?

Finally did they send you a different hub that resolved this problem?

So opening all the ports you mentioned, did that sort UPnP and Open your NAT type

Yes does

How did you add more than one port??? It does not even let me. I press the + symbol and nothing happens. Getting very frustrated with this

so for the first one Xbox One Port 88 (UDP)

Xbox One 1 Port 3074 (UDP and TCP)  keep going but remember press the + symbol

You need a cat5E ethernet cable no other cable works due to compatibility issues

it's because EE USE CGNAT.     EE are absolutely aware about the issue but choose to pretend it's new (post office anyone)  it's an Xbox configuration problem but because of the CGNAT it messes everything up.    I have 3 xboxxs on my network    it's impossible to have any of them open.   I've just switched from BT and all where open at once all the time.   EE shouldn't advertise a gaming net if it isn't compatible with Xbox should they.    I'm still in my cooling off period so I'm canceling in the morning.

and yes I've tried every port forwarding, new ports, static and dynamic IP, IPV6 PinHOLES ( true ipv6 doesn't need pinholes, as it uses Mac address) I've disabled upnp tried dmz and after tons of googling the answer is EE have cut corners on ipv4 address and used a CGNAT system instead of the proper system open reach use .    please if anyone can prove me wrong and fix this please do

that's not it I'm afraid     every router comes with 5e
