Hi I have been having the exact same issue, never had a problem with BT but switched to new EE broadband and can't connect the Xbox via ethernet cable and the app doesn't work so can't use the Gaming Mode, which was one of the main reasons we switched over

This problem seems to have started over the last couple of days, after months of it being absolutely fine.

Hi all
What worked for me was setting subnet port etc my self then allowing Xbox to automatically select subnet etc and then it worked.
