I ordered the PS5 Pro almost a month ago now, and I’ve still not been given a delivery date. I know the console releases this Thursday on the 7th, but I want to know if EE will be delivering it in time for release day.
i know some outlets have already begun delivering orders.

Hi @TJH426
It is great to hear that you've ordered a PS5 Pro.
Deliveries are expected to be starting on release date, and it is still showing this for orders placed today.
When it has been despatched, you'll receive a text from DPD, or a notification in the DPD app if you have that, with the delivery slot.

Is the DPD delivery same day delivery for release? Hoping to get my preorder release date as I cancelled my Playstation Direct order to preorder from EE a month ago.

I couldn't give any definite timescales but orders are expected to start being delivered on release day.
Once your order is on the way, you'd get a text or email to let you know when it will be delivered.

Was a really good question as Sony are notoriously bad at release dates and in the past some of us have been left hanging waiting for console release because companies have took more pre-orders than they had stock. So when it all goes quiet around about a release date, we all start getting a little nervous.

Mine is still saying Order allocated with no dispatch email. Have you had any dispatch email from DPD etc? I've had nothing so not expecting it now.

I received the unfortunate news this morning (after chasing support via email) that my Paypal Pay in 3 I authorised when I ordered on October 14th was cancelled by EE Game Store. I was extremely disheartened, as this meant my preorder was cancelled and I wouldn't have found out until release date as I only found this out via support and have had NO general communication that I would have received from EE otherwise about this.
What made this sting even more is that I previously tried to order a PS5 disk drive a few months ago from the EE store and used Google Pay that time with the same card I use for every transaction. That transaction also had the payment fail for some unknown reason on the EE store end and I also only found out about that through support when I chased them.
Needless to say I will NOT be using the EE store for any future purchases after this experience.
I actually ordered from Argos for home delivery this morning, used paypal pay in 3 there with the same payment details and an hour after ordering, I received a DPD tracking number from them with a successful order. EE store needs to sort out these payment issues.

Im surprised you didnt get a notification from PayPal that the payment didn't go through.

Hi Iam getting very annoyed! Where is my order!?
DPD still haven't updated since saying it was on its way my local hub.
I expected this on launch day I will not be doing this again through EE.
Someone has to be home to provide the pin.

You don't until the merchant cancels the order which didn't happen until... The day before release day. I preordered with Argos that afternoon on the 6th and got my PS5 Pro at 8am on the 7th. Won't be using EE store again..
