My date of birth is incorrect on my account on the EE app, somehow it ended up being my fathers date of birth. Do I have to go into an EE shop to get it changed?

However I don't have any valid ID like a drivers license or passport at present.

All you can do is send a copy of your Birth Certificate & explain a mistake has been made with your DoB to:

Customer Administration
6 Camberwell Way
Doxford Technology Park
Doxford
Sunderland
SR3 3XN

Or take your documents to your nearest EE shop to make the changes there.

Hello @Ma133a ,

Welcome to the community,

You would have to ring customer service to get this changed, I would suggest ringing them and then pressing 2 and the relevant number to get this changed , as you have no photo ID, so cannot go to a store without it.

To contact EE customer service dial 150 from your mobile phone or ring customer service for free using Skype or another phone: +44 800 079 8586 or +44 800 956 6000.

I tried that and was told it was changed, however when I open the EE app it still comes up with the wrong date of birth.

So I was told to send a covering letter with a copy of my birth certificate to EE customer services postal address

You sure it's not really your Dad's a/c? If you've just turned 18 it's likely to be. Who pays the bills?

It is my Dad's however I pay the bill, I am over 18 anyway, I don't even know how they got his birthday rather than mine.

He is the Account Holder. It is correct that the EE a/c holds his personal details, incl DoB, not yours. His credit check was done against his details, not yours.

He can have anybody he chooses to pay the bills on his behalf, but their personal details, other than the bank or card a/c are irrelevant.

Sorry misunderstanding, meant it was my Dad's DOB not his account.
