Why in the new app has the view family usage section been removed? This was really helpful for data sharing but is not visible anymore. Why?

Hi Christopher. Of course I have.
I can get the information if I then drill down into each device. My point is I didn't used to have to and I don't want to now. A Family usage summary screen was available as soon as you logged in and it has gone. Why should I have to drill down into four other dropdowns to get what was already there?
I can see exactly how this has come about. I have recently left employment with BT Group as I was disillusioned. As part of my portfolio I sold EE connections, in tens of thousands at a time. There has a been a loss of experienced staff since the acquisition, all replaced by juniors who have very different outlooks. I can bet no one who made this design choice was married with teenage children.
The Family usage panel was extremely useful to any parent. It has now been replaced by panels advertising other 'benefits'; in essence advertising. It's an extremely poor design choice.
So I thank you for you reply, but my question remains: why has the family usage summary screen when initially logging in been removed in the new App?

Thanks for replying, @PaulTRogers. My post before was aimed at another user who said theirs had disappeared. I just wanted to make sure that they knew how to access the information.
It's a new app with a new layout. The development team are taking feedback, so we'll be sure to pass yours on.

Chris,
I can still gift data, but there is nowhere where I can see easily how much data everyone has so I can see if gifting is a good idea. The best I can do is to go into gifting, remember how much data I've got, then go into gift to. But, instead of nice simple bar graphs that we had before, we've just got a set of numbers, and they are in different units depending on how much is left. so for example I've got 946MB, 806MB, 2.0GB, 2.8GB etc, so it's really difficult to see who's close with them being some in GB and some in MB.
Also, to my mind an app is for things you do very often. Other things can be left to the website. So I'd immediately bin the Shop and Rewards sections as being unnecessary in an app. But I suspect this will depend on who you think the app is for. Customers I suspect would agree with me, but EE will want to push the sales side.

Thanks for supplying this feedback @MatthewAtkinson
You can also select Help in your My EE app and leave feedback for the team.
Leanne 🙂

Leanne, please can you pass this thread on to the dev team. We should not have to navigate the EE site. That's an EE customer support issue to resolve.
I completely agree with Matthew's summary. The App is confused as to what it is actually for now. It used to be clear and quite useable. Now, it appears to have dual missions (admin and sales) and it makes much less sense to people actually using it for administration, to the point of frustration.
Thank you.

Hi Leanne,
I did leave feedback in the app but received nothing in the way of acceptance or confirmation of receipt. It would be really helpful to have the same functionality back that we used to have. The new app is too focused on selling new products.
please can you pass this to the development team. Thanks.

Christopher have you even read the posts?? If you did you wouldn't have replied with a completely useless answer
