Hi,
I see from the internet that I am not alone in experiencing EE's rubbish and useless system.
It first became a problem when EE moved from a local app to a front door app that accesses a web service, this was unreliable from the get go with circular logins that went nowhere.
Now we have Passkeys that aren't available and email/messaged based security that also goes in a circle failing to log in. I have not been able to log in to my account from any of my devices for so long that I don't even know when.
Web searches show that people are unhappy about it but no apparent resolution from EE, just keep taking our money and when we need to gift data to family (as suggested by EE staff) but can't, they charge me for over use of the data limit!
What are EE doing about this?

@MarcTucker You can’t use data if you have run out, You cannot get an out of allowance charge for data usage. To use data you have to have an allowance of data or purchase a data add on. No data allowance no data usage.
app works fine for me. Passkey work fine for me, Passkey are stored on your device nowhere else. So you’ll need to explain that with more information then not available.
You want EE to do what exactly ? Have you reported the issue you face ? EE can not mind read so you need to report the issue you have.

I find the easiest to use another device when login from a device using passkey. Alternatively you can disable pass key: https://ee.co.uk/help/profile/registration-setup/about-passkeys
