EE app has stopped working with latest Android update

My Android phone (Android 13, Pixel 6 phone) required an update and a restart yesterday and now the EE app won't open and I get constant (every 20 secs or so) notifications flash up that the EE app isn't responding and needs to close. Further restarts/resets haven't helped. The only option seems to be to uninstall the app! Any ideas?

Go into settings app/applications find the EE app and clear the data/cache.

It worked! A cleared out cache was all it needed. Thank you @Northerner

Still not working.. have uninstalled reinstalled cleared cache and thrown it in the air.. Nothing works.. Please help 

Exactly the same problem as described here..I cannot understand why a leading company as EE cannot fix this.. it's not acceptable

Since the app was updated last month it is not fit for purpose.. it will not load up fully.. I end up staring at a blank screen or it gets stuck at the EE logo.. the app won't even load to the log in stage... I don't get it.. such a huge organisation like EE and so many people complaining of the same issues over the last month and still it hasn't been resolved..

If your unable to log in to the app, rather than experiencing some latency, please get in touch with Technical Support so a member of the team can raise a ticket for you.

I had a similar issue but I have found a quick fix... don't sync your contacts when re-installing and now seems to work fine. Try that.

Don't sync your contacts after reinstalling the app. That seems to work fine for me now. (Which EE needs to fix!)
