I am trying to cancel Apple TV+ "free" subscription but the managing subscriptions option is not working, when i try to call they are always too busy to answer. I regret changing to EE.

What is happening when you try to manage the subscriptions? Are you seeing an error?

Do you have Apple TV+ on your mobile or broadband account?

If it is mobile, is it the 6 month free offer or an inclusive benefit?

I received an e-mail telling me that the Apple TV+ (6 months on us) subscription has been actiavted and that unless i cancel it i will be charged automatically after 6 months. I am not prepared to pay for Apple TV (only signed up out of curiosity) so i followed the instructions to cancel it by logging on to my account and opening "Manage Subscriptions. But when i do i get :
This service isn’t working right nowWe’re working hard to get it up and running. Try again later, visit our website or get in touch if it’s urgent.
I have tried to call but they are too "busy with Black Friday deals" to answer. I can not find any other way to get through to customer services. The whole system seems designed to send you around and around in an endless loop of useless pages. Its as is they are trying to prevent me from canceling. R Lythgoe

Can you try to text STOP TV PLUS to 150 from your phone?

No unfortunately i cant as my phone is not fromm EE. I cant afford their prices. But thanks for the suggestion.R Lythgoe

If your phone is not on EE, did you take the Apple TV+ as part of a broadband package with EE?

I was with BT for TV and Broadband for several years but i recently changed to EE as they said it would be cheaper. The Apple TV was a 6 months trial that came with it. I only activated it out of curiosity but after that i found out that if i don't cancel it i will automatically be charged for it. I really have no interest in Apple TV but now i find i cant cancel it due to the poor customer service of EE.Ron Lythgoe

Were you logged in to the EE app or the EE website when you were trying to cancel the subscription?

Yes after some difficulty i managed to get logged on but when i go to Manage Subscriptions i get a page saying:
This service isn’t working right nowWe’re working hard to get it up and running. Try again later, visit our website or get in touch if it’s urgent.
I have tried phoning customer services but they say they are busy answering Black Friday deals and it will be about an hour to get a reply, meanwhile im being charged for the call. Not impressive service, i regret changing to EE.Ron Lythgoe
