Misleading website advertising for iPhone 16

Logged into my account as I was interested in an upgrade. Offer banner shows an iPhone 16 with data plan for £34.58 (reduced from £54.58) but if you click the link and try to assemble a deal you can't get anywhere near that price. I called 150 and spoke to an agent who also could not get close.

Anyone have a clue what's going on? I find the EE website beyond frustrating when trying to price up an upgrade 😞

I called earlier and the agent had no clue about this offer. He could not get the price to match. I asked if it was related to the Broadband switch which suggests you get £20 p/m off but he said no so I'm baffled.

Hi @cotefarmboy.

Welcome back to the EE Community!

What steps are you following to see this particular offer, or at what point are you seeing this ad pop up?

Cheers @cotefarmboy

Do you see any options here to select the option for trade-in?

I can see it mentions this in the second lot of offers you shared, so I'm leaning towards thinking this is a trade-in price.

Alternatively, do you have any existing discounts on your number, such as a friends and family or Perk discount?

Even if you add £480 up front (to replicate max trade in) you still can't get to that price and no I don't have other discounts, I'm on SIM only as paid off the current iPhone 12 a long time ago
