I have received a pay as you go sim card by post. When I select to link it to my existing EE account online, it says there is an error linking and to try again later. When I try later, I get the same error.
The pay as you go sim card is showing signal and can make calls etc.
Thanks

Have you started using the SIM to activate it @ah716met?

Hi @ah716met,
If your SIM is active and you're still unable to link the number with My EE, please get in touch with Customer Care so a member of the team can help.

Hi @ah716met,
If you haven't topped up and purchased a pack yet, your SIM may not be fully activated.
You can top up at My EE - Make Anonymous Payment.
Hope this helps.

The account is topped up and I am using the sim since 26th. The sim is fully functional other then it does not link to my EE account and says trouble linking the account.

Hi @shannoor,
What were you advised when you called?
Did the team raise a support ticket for you?

Hi @James_B,
I was trying to resolve the issue for last few days.
Now when I try to connect it asks me to go to store with an ID. I went to EE store in FORT Dunlop (18 OCT 2023) and they don't know what to do. They scanned the ID and kept note in the number. I spoke to EE again but the account still shows error while trying to link.
I was thinking of leaving the network because of all the issue and 65075 PAC does not also work and reply comes back saying something went wrong. Not sure what is wrong or no one in EE seems to know how to solve it.
Thanks, Shan

Hi @shannoor
Unless there's a more complex problem with your account, the Mobile Care team should be able to link the account for you. If they're not able to link it, they should be able to raise the issue to the next level to try and find a fix.
