It would be helpful if a message was displayed saying that any information relating to allowances is wrong or incomplete. Surely, the absence of such a message just increases the number of phone calls to EE?

@Profile closed You're assuming that the people able to do such a thing are aware that there's a problem...

They SHOULD be, after all we've been complaining about it long enough! Anyway, one of the EE people did come on here & asked us to submit screenshots, remember...

That doesn't mean that the people responsible for the website are aware. It can take weeks of going through appropriate channels and management approval before something makes it to a public-facing website. Trust me, I work for a large company in the sportswear fashion industry where anything to go on the website is subject to that kind of approval. Chances are, the problem would be fixed long before the notice gets approval.

Ok, but this is just a fault, which needs to be put right. I wouldn't have thought that would need as much scrutiny as putting new content on the website & app?

Hi everyone.
The incorrect allowance balance on My EE has been reported to our relevant support team.
To access your allowance information please text BALANCE to 150. You can also visit add-on.ee.co.uk when not connected to WiFi for remaining data allowance.
Thanks.
Leanne.

Any ideas as to when it might be working again?

Soon, hopefully. The SIM in the 4G router is one that I need to keep track of, and right now there's no way to find out reliably how much allowance I have left.

@grsdev : Can't you use http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi to see data & credit status?

@XRaySpeX Nope. I just get an HTTP code 403 (Forbidden).
