Confusion About Plan Status

Mashhadraza
Visitor

I recently received a message saying that my tech bundle has been fully paid off. However, when I check my account summary, it shows my plan as “Out of Contract.” Can someone please clarify what “Out of Contract” means in this context? Does it affect my plan benefits or charges going forward?

Thanks in advance for your help!

Hi @Mashhadraza

Welcome to the community.

Further to what @Chris_B has mentioned above, if you are at the end of the minimum term of the contract, you can also look to upgrade to get a new phone or a SIM Only plan.

You can check out the options in the EE app or by giving our upgrades guides a call.

If you are happy with what you have now, and there are no discounts to be removed, you don't need to do anything.

@Mashhadraza  If you’ve reached the minimum term then your tariff has changed to a 30 day rolling contract.   It doesn’t affect any benefits. After 3 months you’ll get a 10% discount on the bill.   If you get any discount on your bill it might affect that if that discount is a limit time discount. Ie while you’re still within your contract term.
