How about treating customers like they matter.

I am so surprised and disappointed at how EE treats its customers.  As soon as someone else gets 5G coverage in the area my family and I will be switching to a new provider.  I have just been told i cannot have my two children under my account as i have only been a customer for 8 months.  I have actually been a paying customer for nearly 18 months but I was only allowed a pay as you go SIM due to living outside of the UK for decades and having no way to prove my status in the UK.  We did not ask for phones just data and despite paying on time for 18 months and not having an other financial issues we have been told that my son will have to be on a pay as you go account for an undisclosed amount of time.  It would never happen in the United states as companies understand how to do business.  In the UK companies want to treat you like crap and with total mistrust.  Its not a solid way to conduct business. You are alienating customers over the risk of a few quid.  Bad decisions abound at EE.

@CBetsy  You have a credit limit with EE and time spent will increase that limit.   as with all networks.
Have you tried just seeing if you can take out an additional line via your EE account?

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.
I have tried that route but the decision making at EE is not rooted in facts or reality. It’s just a case of computer says no. No discussion, no reasoning, no looking at facts. Just no! It would be so refreshing if they could make decisions, even low risk ones like this based on the reality of a persons financial situation and not on some checklist.
