Hi @Profile closed

Thanks for coming back to the community.

Just to check, are you able to receive calls but have no ringing sound from the phone?

Have you had a ringing sound previously and this has stopped working?

Is the phone connected to the router via the socket on the back, or have you paired via WPS?

Speak soon.

Leanne 🙂

Hello,

can make calls and receive calls the phone has a ringing tone the issue is in settings tap sounds then tap ringing when you do  the following error comes up not currently available.

This issue has all been there.

The phone is paired by WPS

Hope this helps

@Profile closed Are you trying to change or select the ringtone feature on the phone itself? If so believe the function has been removed and no longer allowed!

Hello,

yes I am trying to change the ringtone on the phone.

Thanks for the update.

Thanks

@Profile closed If you ever do get it to work let the Forum know, conflicting post's yes you can do it / never been able too / Amazon controlled feature now gone, and EE supplied there phone module type so just got no idea where it all stands now and who is correct! Maybe EE Support will post up what/if and can or cannot be done!

Hi JimM11

I have just found this answer of yours. It explains the sounds option not working now i just have to find a way to make the phone ring on an incoming call without pressing the volume key every time.

Thanks Philipos

@Philipos Answered this on your other post, you must be having a handset issue, or the Dect pairing as you are using the internal Dect part off the system is gone a little off and not forcing the ringer on the handset to go!

Hi JimM11.

I went back to basics. I logged into the hub via the web address and.

1) deleted the Adapter that was still there ( that I  had to reset once a month, as it kept locking up) from the original installation that went to the DECT phone.

2) unplugged the phone cable from the phone port ( Green ) at the back of the hub.

3) deleted the Home Phone plus wifi handset that I had just installed and factory reset the new handset.

4) then reset the hub.

5) after 5 minutes I went through the process of installing the Home phone plus handset.

6) I then called the Landline from my mobile and the home phone plus RANG and displayed my mobile number.

All I have to do now is store some numbers.

Thank you for your help today and yesterday.

@Philipos Glad you are getting some where with it now, frustrating though it may be! That's when you miss the ability to export/import contact's but someday EE may just fix that option and you can only live with hope that they do!
