Leaving EE

I’ve decided to leave EE broadband and tv.  If I put in a request with another provider what happens. They are offering exactly the same for almost half the price. I just want to exit but not have to ring up.

I can’t see any links to contact you and give notice apart from the trauma of ringing.

Thanks

Hi @sdjefferies

Please read here: https://ee.co.uk/help/profile/leaving-ee/leaving-ee-what-you-need-to-know

Thanks

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 07953 966 150 for mobile and 0330 123 1105 for Broadband..

EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

The link sent me around and around and it doesn’t answer my question about cancelling via website. Oh and the app is mostly broken too constantly failing. I need to raise a ticket to leave please.

@sdjefferies : You don't contact EE & you don't give them any notice.

If you migrate your BB to another ISP you apply to them directly & they'll take care of everything bar your final EE bill, using the One Touch Switch (OTS) process. This will auto cancel your contract with EE.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Home Broadband & Home Phone or Option 2 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband

ISPs: 1999: Freeserve 48K Dial-Up > 2005: Wanadoo 1 Meg BB > 2007: Orange 2 Meg BB > 2008: Orange 8 Meg LLU > 2010: Orange 16 Meg LLU > 2011: Orange 20 Meg WBC > 2014: EE 20 Meg WBC > 2020: EE 40 Meg FTTC > 2022:EE 80 Meg FTTC SoGEA > 2025 EE 150 Meg FTTP

Excellent and does the tv packages cancel with that?

Yes, as EE TV is an add-on to your BB contract.

Are we sure it is exactly the same for half the price? Most times it's not

Yes EE is £50 for sport and £70 for broadband! So yes Sky offer it for £30 and £20 for the same plus extra for WiFi 7. Same deal 2 years and with the incremental updates.
