OTP no longer working with landline phone

I transferred to EE (from Plusnet) a few months ago, to retain the landline phone number, and was able to process OTP codes on my main phone keypad (BT Vanguard 10). However, this feature stopped working a couple of days ago. Does anyone know how to restore the functionality ?

@Dave523 Were the stored and used with the extra function key's on that old phone, if you are now on a DV Digital Voice, is the phone connected into the back off the EE Hub or to a DVA Digital Voice Adapter?

Link to your old post should you need it again.

@Dave523 : What do mean by "process"? What are you actual doing with OTPs. One usually receives OTPs as texts or as recorded voice calls.

If you think I helped please feel free to hit the "Thumbs Up" button below.

@Dave523   There is a recent thread from another user relating to her not actually recieiving OTP related automated voice calls from her bank to her phone on DV, so if that is what you are actually experiencing, the advice I provider to her is worth a look to make sure EE Call Protect hasn't decided to block the number the bank automated service is calling from, or dump it in the junk voicemail on 1572.

The previous post of yours highlighted by @JimM11 indicates you have other phones in use at your place such as a Converse 2100, so is this issue just on the Vanguard 10?

As @XRaySpeX has already said, bit more detail needed.

Thanks -  "Were the stored and used with the extra function key's on that old phone" - No

Phone is connected into the back of the EE Hub.

Thanks - "What are you actual doing with OTPs" - to supply web pages requiring OTPs

@Dave523 You need to just try the hub off again for the 5 mins, and when back on see if your OTP's get through the DV connection, hub is normally best connection DVA's can be way oopsy at times. After that it's per @YorkshireMidge advice to go look at what may be happening with EE on the hub.👍

1) "EE Call Protect" - Check ...

Switch blocklist on or off [web]

In the EE app or log in to the EE website.
Go to Plans and Subscriptions.
Choose Digital Home Phone. <<<< Option Not available (only under 'Shop Broadband')

https://ee.co.uk/help/home-phone/manage-use/call-protect

2) "is this issue just on the Vanguard 10" - Don't know, probably 'yes' (I don't use the other phones for OTP)

@Dave523 Take a quick check in your voicemail JIC, EE CS are the ones who may be able to say what is going on DV wise.

I've since found the EE Call Protect 'blocklist' - the most recent blocked numbers were all submitted by myself (via the BT Vanguard 10 Phone), and in any case pre-date the OTP problem.
