Since moving to Digital Voice I have had the following problem:
I am on my computer logging into a site
Their 2FA process displays a 6 digit code on the login page of their website
I have to get their automated system to call me and I then enter the 6 digit number displayed on their website onto my handset
Once I do this, it should pass their security and I get logged into their site.
The problem is that the automated call never rings on my Digital Voice number.
I have discussed this with the company and they have suggested that Digital Voice may be rejecting the call as its automated. Does anyone know where I can turn off this feature, so I can receive the phone calls?

@SHFraser You need to get the 2FA sent to your mobile phone. Once the SMS/e-mail is got then enter the number on your PC, otherwise set up a OTP in your PC, but 95% so you may still get asked to send to mobile.

Can't you get this site, which I take to not be EE, to send the OTP to your mobile as a text or to your email? Most sites offer you a choice as to where it is sent.

I have tried getting the 2FA voice call sent to my mobile. Unfortunately, when I answer it and I have to enter the numbers on my mobile phone app keypad they are not recognised and won't let me in. So, I am currently in the position where both my mobile and Digital Voice are preventing me accessing the site I want to access. I have spoken to the mobile phone manufacturer who have all the logs from my phone trying to work out a resolution. Which is why I thought I would see if I could get it to work with Digital Voice. I tdid used to work with my landline but not since I moved to Digital Voice.

You are correct, the site I am trying to access is not EE - it's actually a banking site. I have asked them to send it as a text or email simply to be told that they don't have any facility to do this. It has to be a call back to either my mobile or Digital Voice and I have to enter it via the keyboard. I have a problem with my mobile where the tones sent by my phone are not being recognised by the system. I am currently in conversation with the mobile phone manufacturer to see if they can resolve this. That is why I am trying to get it working with Digital Voice. The really annoying thing is that my husband has an identical mobile phone to me - and it works on his mobile.

Register his mobile no. as your no. at your bank. At least temporarily.

@SHFraser There is obviously more than one issue here, so it might be easier to try and focus on the Digital Voice issue as that feels like it might be the easier of the two given you aren't receiving the call at all.
The first step I'd be taking is to identify the originating number for the bank's call. You can likely find that out from your husband's mobile, or your landline phone's call history if it is still present from when it was last working. Is it anything unusual such as an international number? Is it number witheld etc?
Couple of other things you can do on Digital Voice itself.
Check 1572 which is junk voicemail to see if there is anything in there. My settings for call protect (which I assume are EE default because I haven't changed them) is "Numbers we’ve identified as unwanted calls" and "Unknown numbers" are ticked to go to this junk voicemail. "Witheld numbers" and "international calls" are unticked in my case.
You change these by going into your account and into the Call Protect settings. Whilst you are in there, you can look at your received calls and it might be interesting to see if the bank source number appears in that list. You can also manually ADD a number to a favourite list in there "These are the numbers you always want to hear from" which I assume bypasses Call Protect if that is what might be blocking the call.
If you don't get any further, then at least you have the option of putting a call into EE armed with the bank source number and ask them why it isn't being received.
Finally, does your handset you are using on Digital Voice have it's own call blocking capability? If so it might be worth checking you haven't inadvertently blocked the bank number.

Thanks, that's really helpful. I will try all these things.
