Why does EE not allow you to see your bills after cancelling your account?

The website no longer allows me to view either the current or previous bills now that my number has been transferred out of network.

This is crap. I need to see what you have just billed me today! I called and spoke with a friendly agent and she said she could send me a final bill for a cost of £2.50. She then sent me a password reset link. There's no problem gaining access to my profile/account online, the problem is EE is no longer allowing me to see the billing area now my account is closed.

Hi @hdavids0 You should be able to see your bills for up to 6 moths after cancelling, you can see more info here Thinking of Leaving EE | Profile Help | EE

Thanks @Chris_S I will maybe see if that updates for me in one week per the link you provided.

I don't understand why it should remove the option to see previous bills while I wait for that final bill to show up, or why it should be acceptable to take the money from my bank account without being able to see the billing.

Hi EE Community Team

No perfect answer yet. Can’t see any bills anymore. Money has left my account.

I'm really sorry to hear that @hdavids0 what's happening when you try to open up your bill?

When I log in to ee.co.uk, it says "Welcome to EE!" and there is no billing navigation/menu/content available. If I try and link my number it says the number is not associated with any products from EE. Which is true, I've moved to another network.

Be nice to see the bills though!
