Upgrading 2yr sim Plan whilst paying 3yr handset

i was hoping to upgrade my 2 yr sim plan but have been told i can’t as I’m still paying the handset off over 3yrs.

Surely I should still be able to upgrade my sim plan rather than being stuck in the deal that has expired, for another year ?

Once you have seen out your SIM plan's 2 year min term you may upgrade it while continuing to pay monthly for the handset's Flex Pay contract.

Hi @theBroons

The advice above from @XRaySpeX is definitely correct.

You'd only need to pay off your Flex Pay agreement in full if this was a new handset upgrade.
If you're now outside of the 24 month SIM plan, you should be able to upgrade this with no issues. I would advise calling back and speaking to the team to get this resolved.

have spoken to EE just now and have been told that i would need to pay off the flex pay handset before i would be allowed to upgrade my expired sim deal

Have just spoken with EE and been told i am not able to upgrade my expired sim plan until i pay off the flex pay handset
