Hi,

Is it possible to lower my monthly bill by reducing data allowance?

I'm currently on 10GB and have only ever used max 4GB

Thanks

Hi @niamhvallely ,

Once you have completed the commitment period (aka minimum term) agreed to at the onset of the contract, you will be able to upgrade to SIM-only with a reduced data allowance.

By committing to a minimum term of 12 months or 24 months, you've been able to receive a lower price than might otherwise be available, and typically data allowance is cheaper to buy in higher quantities than lower quantities so even if you were to immediately drop your allowance by 60%, it's highly unlikely the price would go down by anything near 60%.

@niamhvallely  Short answer is no as you committed to a contract for a period of time. You have to honour that contract that you agreed to.

To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone.

No, you may not downgrade to a cheaper plan mid-term, only upgrade to a higher plan.
