Is the 30% friends and family discount no longer applied to devices and only the airtime? 

I can’t find it anywhere on the website?

What if I’m not upgrading though. I want to apply a brand new F&F code to an iPhone 15 for both the handset and airtime. Is this possible?

If it is a new connection on a flex pay plan, the discount will only be applied to the airtime plan.

my contract (sim+phone) is coming to an end and I’d now like to upgrade. However I’m only getting the discount on the airtime (sim plan only).

how do we fix the issue please? Can someone help?

You're better off taking your business elsewhere, moneysupermarket shows deals cheaper at 24 months vs ee 36 month without the discount. 

They're clearly forcing this flexpay and avoiding answering these questions properly.

that's very true @Aaron47c I have asked the exact same question in 3 different ways and still no answer other than call 150.

Unacceptable copy paste answers rather than solving the actual issue.

I fully agree that referring to call 150 to me is not adequate reaction and not fulfilling me expectations..

There is way how to use FF30 on device and plan.. but it is not by using Flex pay... which for some reason when using PC is my only option when try to upgrade ... I have to go to EE website from my phone ... then I am offered only standard plans there where FF30 can be used for both device and plan and is way better then first option with Flex play.. Where btw if u look carefully you can see full cost of device itself is about £90-100 more then retail.... nobody seem can explain to me why 🙂

Hopped on a live chat to ask about this and they were able to place an iPhone 15 order for me using F&F discount. So after all that, there’s your answer 🙂
