Why do EE seem to make it so difficult to cancel an account..? I don't have a mobile number for my mifi which has not been in use for several months. I logged in to my account and there is no option to cancel or suspended my account. I cancelled my DD and ee are now getting nasty... What do I do now..?

Hi @arpemrock
If you log into the device via http://192.168.1.1 you will see the mobile number allocated to the SIM/account.
If you speak to EE CS on 150 and pass the security questions they will be able to cancel (30 days notice) of the account if it's registered to you.
You do need to speak to EE CS on 150 to cancel.
Thanks
To contact EE Customer Services dial 150 From your EE mobile or 0800 956 6000 from any other phone. You can call Freephone +44 800 079 8586 on Skype
EE standard opening hours are Monday to Friday, 8am to 9pm - Saturday and Sunday, 8am to 8pm.

@arpemrock If this is a contract you can not suspended as it’s a fixed period of time. To cancel you have to call customer services and if it’s still within its contract period you’ll have to pay off that contract to terminate it. You have to call as you have to be told how much it’ll cost to terminate if it’s a contract.

To get its mobile no. either:
- Text NUMBER to 150 from it.
- Look at http://add-on.ee.co.uk/status from a device connected to your mobile router by WiFi .
- Login to your MBB router at http://192.168.1.1 with username/pwd as "admin"/"admin" or with the admin password found under the battery cover. Then look for its no. possibly under Device > Device Info.
- Look on the SIM packaging if you still have it.
To phone EE CS: Dial Freephone +44 800 079 8586 - Option 1 for Mobile Phone & Mobile Broadband or Option 2 for Home Broadband & Home Phone

Cancelling your regular payments is not a way of giving your 30days disconnection notice that's already been explained in previous replies.

Same here. They lied to get me to sign a contract telling me that the phone would 'definitely' arrive the following day. After I signed up I get an email saying it'll be in four days time. Rang EE and said that it 'can't be stopped now'. I've since got a way better deal from O2 and have to return the new phone to EE when it eventually arrives (it's been 5 days now and no indication of anything due for delivery. So much for 'you'll definitely have it tomorrow... And they wonder why I'm going to O2? Seriously?..)
Once EE know you are leaving they become disinterested and unhelpful.
