 my line has been disconnected just now and I’ve tried loads to pay my bill over the phone and online. It keeps saying cannot process. Please help!!

Resolved! Upgrade

My phone was eligible for an upgrade as I was out of contract.  I’ve received a new sim & phone.  Do I have to cancel my existing phone ?! Or does it just happen automatically?
