Did you mean:

require a static IP

I have a similar issue. We have fire to the cabinet and have  a Smart Hub. Unfortunately, we have a number of devices that require a static IP which the SH wont allow to be set up. I purchased a TP-Link BE9300 router with the idea of the SH being set on bridge mode and the TP Link managing all the connected devices. I switched of the DHCP and wireless on the SH. Connected the TP Link to the SH by the WAN port but can't get any internet connection.

Is there a mistake I have made  or missed something. Any help would be greatly appreciated

@Oakdene19 Are you sure that BT Supplied a static wan IP on the system, did not think the offered that service apart from on a business line?

Thank you for your help. I have just read the instructions for the enth time and now I can see where my error is after you pointing it out. I will set it up again and hopefully all will be well
